I was going to write about the topic of control and a belief by some people that they control every aspect of someones life. Especially when arrogantly believing their beliefs are superior and blatantly thinking they are GOD….but instead of waiting I’ll just share tonight since I’m in the mood..
In reviewing certain relationships, friendships and so forth for the last couple of weeks I have come to realize that people either love to love me, love to hate me, or just tolerate me for the sake of: a) security b) money c) experience d) dependability or e) because they believe I am weak and can be used in the way see fit.
Unfortunately for those who believe I am weak, which can apply to anyone, things aren’t always as they seem. Often the weak, as presented throughout history, rise to power. An example of a person perceived weak to some people could be Barack Obama or even Ghandi, Shaka Zulu, Moses, Martin Luther King ….and so on and so forth…. each of the aforementioned names came to power and are noted in literature, film and other forms of art. The point is, when you look at life it is in all actuality a game. You play to win or you play to loose. You play the cards you were given and if those cards don’t work you trade them in or upgrade.
Coming from a background where learning was not an option but a necessity and honestly a rule, I have in my adult years been awarded with “he thinks he is better” or a “he is lost” sort of attitude because I have a look and a demeanor that says I AM… ME…. I AM…. NJAI…. I AM… He…. and most importantly… I AM A PRODUCT OF GODS BLUEPRINT.
Yes, what I said may sound cocky or arrogant, but it is the truth. No one and I really mean this.. No one can shift or remove me from what is destined. If it is GOD’s will I will rise to heights that he has ordained. If that means that I will have to endure hateful words, abuse, slurs or whatever comes my way SO BE IT!
After all, Dangerous is he who stands unapologetic… Dangerous is he who fulfills the prophecy…. and Dangerous Is HE that is in ME for daring to be me.
update:
Now that I’m done spitting fire (sorry about that I got a little heated, but I meant every word), I just had to comeback and say that my new blog will not serve as a firing zone, like I have done on this one from time to time. There will be more content and relatable programs that I have been putting together offline. There is much to do and much to say in this time and I hope you’ll join me on this interesting journey. We’ll see where it goes.
Lastly, do you! Never let anyone steal your light. If you set out to minister to others and the devil tries to rise against you, keep moving forward. The message will come forth whether they like it or not because it was ordained to come forth. You never know who is listening, watching or reading. If just one person feels what you have put forth in their time of need then you’ve done your job. Stay true to yourself… Njai

Today is a new day in more ways than one. I am… starting a new chapter in so many ways that I decided a change in domain(website) would be appropriate.
Please visit my new website (premieres Wednesday, March 18th) IAM NJAI.COM !!!
I look forward to sharing with you at that blog.
You may continue to use this link if you wish as I have configured things in such a way that all pages will forward visitors to the new website. I will also be V-Logging !! so watch out for that and so much more.
As far as the I Am… Njai title, no I am not stealing from Beyonce. A full description of that title will follow in one of the first blog posts followed by everything else I’ve been blogging on my laptop (unreleased anywhere) and a very interesting interview/chat session I had with Gospop (Gospel/Inspirational/Pop/Alternative) singer and minister of music Tonex, now known as Ton3x.

As you know I’m on hiatus for a while but I had to come and let you guys know about E Lynn Harris’ new book ‘Basketball Jones’.
Be sure to check this book out…. it is currently in stores and available at libraries… however, if you’re trying to get it from librarys you need to order it now because from what I’ve seen and heard it will be about 2 weeks or more before you’ll get your hands on it. Some libraries have it checked out and requested through March !
Here’s the cover and description. (I’ll be back to blogging in a few weeks.)
By the way have you seen Notorious ? … I have and honestly I’ll have to share that with you because I was disappointed but at the same time happy with the film… feel free to tell me how you felt about it in comments below or shoot me an email..
In Basketball Jones, E. Lynn Harris explores the consequences of loving someone who is forced to conform to the rules society demands its public heroes follow. Filled with nonstop twists and turns, it will keep readers riveted from the first page to the last.

Wow… it has been a week since I’ve even logged into my blog.
I hope you’ve had a prosperous 2009 thus far and you’re ready to party on Tuesday — I know I am !
In light of the forthcoming inauguration and a few other events I’ll be attending over the next few weeks, Njaijoszor.com is going on complete hiatus (unless something happens that I must speak on).
When I return, it’s on!
I have tons of exciting news, a new blog series and several interviews to share along with a few bloggers I’d like you to check out…so be on the lookout.
Again, I wish everyone the best. Whether you’re starting a new job, taking a break or getting back to school like I am…make it a great January and I look forward to sharing tons of new things later this month or in early February.
